Lessons Learned | Walla Walla Portrait Photographer

As much as I LOVE getting to work with all of my great senior and family clients, sometimes it's nice to do a shoot just for me. Before this summer I've never experienced being too busy to work on something conceptual, so it was odd when all of a sudden I didn't have enough time in the day, week, or even month to just go out and shoot for no reason other than personal satisfaction.

I can't even explain how refreshing it was to go out and shoot with Whitney the other day. Everything fell perfectly into place - hair, wardrobe (the skirt was from Goodwill!), and location. We had fun exploring around a bit and couldn't be more happy with the images we came home with.

Now I realize the importance of taking time for personal projects...it really reminds me of why I fell in love with photography in the first place and makes me excited for what the future holds! Hope you enjoy and don't be shy to leave a little love in the comments!

And of course Whitney had to do at least a little bit of dancing in the road (Side note, she definitely did not look that graceful in person) ;)
