The Decade Project | Walla Walla Portrait Photographer

Kassidy and I started on this project 2 summers ago when we randomly decided to turn a location scout into a 1940s inspired mini shoot. After this first one, we were hooked. Whenever we both had some spare time to research the decade, search for outfits, and take the time to get her ready, we set out to conquer another decade.

To come up with Kassidy's looks, we always started with some research and then headed out to Goodwill to see what we could find. When we couldn't find what we wanted from there, we started scrounging pieces from our parents, grandparents, friends...really whatever we could find :) I absolutely LOVED this personal project and hope you will too! Feel free to leave a little love in the comments...let us know which decade is your favorite!

A Year of Favorites | 2013 | Walla Walla Photographer

This year was by far the best year I have ever had. Not only did I have the most amazing clients ever, but I also got to travel through Europe, finish my junior year of college and am now half way through my senior year, GOT ENGAGED, and much much more. I feel so incredibly blessed by all the people in my life and can't wait to see what next year brings!

Class of 2014 Senior Models | Walla Walla Senior Portrait Photographer

Introducing (for the second time), my class of 2014 senior models! I was so happy to be able to do another shoot with them when it was warm...especially since we were able to shoot at the Milton-Freewater Drive In Theater! Unfortunately the sun didn't show itself until the end of our shoot, but we still had a blast. A BIG thanks to Wiley and Eric for letting us use their awesome vehicles and Marissa Angulo (one of my Class of 2013 models) for being a wonderful assistant!

Loud music, dancing, popcorn, and classic Pepsis were just a few of the things we enjoyed while shooting...this was definitely the most fun I have ever had during a session and I'm so grateful I was able to work with these great kids!

CLASS OF 2014: Now's the time to book your summer senior portrait session! Give me a call, shoot me a text, or send me a Facebook message so that we can plan a session that screams YOU.
