A Very Rieke Week | Walla Walla Portrait Photographer

This year I was able to visit my dear friends in Minnesota for a week again...so of course we had to have another photoshoot! (You can see last year's shoot here) However, this time around after we were all finished doing hair, makeup, and picking out our outfits, we only had about 10 minutes before Kirsten had to rush off to work. We bagged the original plan to walk downtown, get some coffee, and take our time, and instead grabbed some old coffee cups, ran across the street to campus, and shot like crazy.

Not only did we have little time, but these were probably the hardest weather/lighting conditions I've ever had to shoot in. With the bright snow, multiple shadows, and constantly changing sun, getting the look I wanted (mainly with white balance) was NOT easy. Nonetheless, we still had fun and more importantly than getting "perfect" images, we made memories. Gosh I love these girls.
