A little history lesson, Chamonix was the location of the very first winter Olympics, and as such is pretty much the "original" ski town. I absolutely LOVED staying here. The chilliness in the air combined with the coziness of the town was just perfect...it made me want Christmas! During our stay we were able to ride l'Aiguille du Midi cable car to the summit of Mont Blanc...yeah, so cool. This amazing place was definitely a favorite on the trip! Up next, we travel to Geneva, Switzerland.
