Rome, Italy | Euro Adventure Part 8

The next stop on our trip was Rome! A few highlights were the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Sistine Chapel...talk about mesmerizing. I think we consumed gelato at LEAST twice a day (how could we NOT?), not to mention plates and plates of pizza and pasta. I think my favorite part of visiting this city was getting to see and touch the same things that people from some of the earliest civilizations saw and touched (I'm a nerd, what can I say). But seriously, walking out onto the platform of the Colosseum? Definitely something I'll never forget. Hope you enjoy!

The Decade Project | Walla Walla Portrait Photographer

Kassidy and I started on this project 2 summers ago when we randomly decided to turn a location scout into a 1940s inspired mini shoot. After this first one, we were hooked. Whenever we both had some spare time to research the decade, search for outfits, and take the time to get her ready, we set out to conquer another decade.

To come up with Kassidy's looks, we always started with some research and then headed out to Goodwill to see what we could find. When we couldn't find what we wanted from there, we started scrounging pieces from our parents, grandparents, friends...really whatever we could find :) I absolutely LOVED this personal project and hope you will too! Feel free to leave a little love in the comments...let us know which decade is your favorite!

Paris, France | Euro Adventure Part 7

I swear I've been working on these for the past 8 months.....oh wait, I have ;)

Paris was absolutely delightful. I was skeptical at first since I've heard a lot of people say it's too dirty and that they didn't care for it, but oh boy, I LOVED it. It was pretty much the most exciting thing ever when we first saw the Eiffel tower, we consumed more kebab sandwiches and crepes than I can count, walking through the halls of the Louvre with all of the huge paintings made me feel like I was a Disney princess (not to mention the spiral staircase at the Musée Rodin), and strolling around the city was just perfect. Next and LAST on the trip, will be Venice & Rome...yay for almost being done!
